Naomi B. KEMPSTON, 71, Beatrice, died Feb. 2, 2003. Born May 13, 1931, 
at Beatrice, and married Clifford D. Kempston on April 29, 1952, at Beatrice. 
Preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Zella (Deputy) McMahan; her 
husband, Clifford (April 10, 1995); a son, Richard D. Kempston; granddaughter, 
Jennifer L. Franzen; and a sister, Mary Reed. Funeral: Feb. 6, Fox Funeral 
Home, Beatrice. Burial: Evergreen Home Cemetery, Beatrice. 

FAIRBURY - Fred G. HINRICHS, 96, Fairbury, died Feb. 2, 2003, in Fairbury. 
Born April 22, 1906, near Bruning, the son of Gerhard and Maria (Kuhlmann) 
Hinrichs. Funeral: Feb. 5, Trinity Lutheran Church, Bruning. Burial: Bruning 
Public Cemetery, Bruning. Farmer & Son Funeral Home in Geneva.

HANOVER, Kan. - Bernadine I. DIMOND, 74, Hanover, Kan., formerly of 
Fairbury, Neb., died Feb. 3, 2003. She was born Jan. 1, 1929, at Beatrice, Neb. 
Preceded in death by her parents, Birnum and Hattie (Rohr) Langley. Funeral: 
Feb. 7, Christian Church, Fairbury. Burial: Fairbury Cemetery.
