Services are pending with Levander Funeral Home in Cedar Rapids. KEARNEY - William C. "Bill" BELL, 82, of Kearney, died Jan. 25, 2003, in Kearney. Services were at the Horner-Lieske-Horner Mortuary. Masonic rites were held at the funeral home conducted by members of the Rob Morris Masonic Lodge 46 A.F. & A.M. Burial was at the Kearney Cemetery with military rites at the grave by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 759, The American Legion Post 52 and the Kearney National Guard unit. Born July 9, 1920, in Dustin, Okla., to Joseph S. and Nora L. (Floyd) Bell. He married June L. Brandt on June 26, 1971, in Kearney. Preceded in death by his wife on July 9, 1995; one brother and five sisters. FREMONT - Eugene P. "Bud" DEPUE, 66, of Fremont, died Jan. 24, 2003 in Omaha. Services at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fremont. Born Oct. 8, 1936, to Ernie and Carrie Depue in Fremont. Married Phyllis Campbell in 1958 in Fremont. Preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Carrie Depue; one daughter, Kellie Steffens; one sister, Ethel Seward; one stepsister, Ellen Reynolds; and one stepbrother, Gilbert Green. WALKER, Minn. - Ethel N. (Pearson) ERICKSEN, 93, of Columbus, died Jan. 7, 2003 from complications related to Parkinson's disease. A memorial service was held at The Federated Church in Columbus. Private graveside services will be held at the Loup Fork (Dry Creek) Cemetery in Howard County. Born on April 23, 1909, to John Albert Leroy and Mildred Catherine Davies Pearson in rural Page County, Iowa. (Hilmer-Waldman) CATLETT, 70, of Lincoln, died Jan. 25, 2003 after battling lung cancer. Services at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Lincoln. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Thiebe (Oltmann) Hilmer; two brothers, Ed Hilmer and Harvey Hilmer; one sister, Sadie Curtis and her first husband Raymond Waldman.
