Vera M. Houchin Kwiatkowski, 73, of Odessa, Nebraska, died Apr 1, 2006.
She was born Apr 4, 1932, north of Gothenburg, Nebraska, to James L. Houchin 
and Vera Villa Murray. Married 1st Elmer Gugelman in 1952 then later married 
Ralph Kwiatkowski in 1957. 
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Elmer Gugelman; an infant 
brother, James; her grandparents; parents, James and Vera Houchin; two sisters, 
Artith Barnes and Joan Baldwin; and one brother, Daniel Houchin.
There will be a private family memorial service only.

Wilma Irene Post, 94, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Sunday, April 2, 2006.
She was born June 5, 1911, at Giles, Nebraska, to William and Elsie Cornelia 
(Crooker) Fetherston. 
Marriage to Ross Post on December 31, 1928, at Ainsworth, Nebraska. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ross on Nov 20, 1976; 
two sisters, Lydia Mae Swinford and Frances Genevieve Flebbe; one half-sister, 
Emily Lou Williams; two infant half-siblings; and son-in-law, Wilbur Evans.
Services will be held Saturday, April 8, 2006, at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian 
Church, Lexington.
Burial will be in the Shelton Cemetery at 2 p.m. the afternoon of the 
service with Eastern Star Rites.

Hannah G. Meester, 94, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died on April 4, 2006.
She was born on January 12, 1912, to Folkert and Ellen (Jurgens) Johanning.
Hannah grew up on the family farm and attended rural schools. 
Married Nov 3, 1935, to Walter J. Meester in Gothenburg. 
Walt died in 1963. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, 
Larry on March 17, 2006, and one in infancy; one daughter in infancy; 
one great-grandson; and one sister.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 10, 2006, at 10 a.m. at 
the American Lutheran Church, Gothenburg. 
Burial was in the Gothenburg Cemetery. 

Ellsworth J. Page, 84, lifetime Lexington, Nebraska, resident, died April 5, 2006.
He was born February 3, 1922, at Lexington to Garnett and Frankie (Gregory) Page.
Served his country in the United States Army during WWII. 
Married Sept. 11, 1949, to Mildred Yates. This union was blessed with four 
daughters, Nancy, Mary Jo, Karen Ruth and Cynthia. Karen Ruth died in infancy. 
Mildred preceded him in death in 1969. 
Married Sept. 4, 1982, to Dora Linke at Eustis, Nebraska. 
She also preceded him in death in July of 1998. 
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Mildred in 1969; 
his second wife, Dora, in 1998; daughter, Karen Ruth; sister, Olive Belle; 
sister-in-law, Norma; brothers-in-law, John Grimes, John Becker and 
Robert Yates; and other relatives.
Services were held Monday, April 10, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at First 
United Methodist Church in Lexington. Mason Rites by Thistle Lodge, #61 
were also held at the church. Burial with Military Honors was in the 
Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.

Anna Margaret Hunt, 96, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Friday, April 7, 2006.
She was born April 12, 1909, at Lexington to Gottlob and Kathryn (Brugger) Strauss.
Married Feb 13, 1938, to Stanley Hunt at Buffalo Grove Presbyterian Church near 
Lexington. 
She was preceded in death by husband, Stanley Hunt in 1999; and sisters, 
Emma Sanderman and Helen Menke.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at 
First United Methodist Church in Lexington. 
Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.

Mary Frances Buhrman, 75, of North Platte, Nebraska, died April 8, 2006.
Born on Dec 13, 1930, in Pawnee City, Nebraska. 
She attended Wood River High School.
Preceded in death by her parents, John and Marie Leonard; a daughter, 
Jean Ann; a grandson, Christopher Niles; a sister, Jean Marie; and a 
brother, Joe Murray.
Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 11, 2006, at 
St. Patrick's Catholic Church in North Platte. 
Burial was at Fort McPherson National Cemetery in Maxwell, Nebraska. 

Sylvia Mae Mills, 93, of Cozad, Nebraska, died April 8, 2006.
Born on Feb. 3, 1913, near Smithfield, Nebraska, to William and Annie Fiala Sackett.
On December 1, 1930, she married Lee Mills in McCook, Nebraska. 
He preceded her in death on March 18, 1979. 
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Donald Mills; a 
daughter, Shirley Houser; a grandson, Daniel Dee Mills; a great-grandson, 
Chris Hilliard; a brother, Clarence Sackett; and a sister, Thelma Simpson.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday April 12, 2006, at the Berryman 
Funeral Home. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery near Lexington, Nebraska.

Michael L.(Mike) Ramsey, 53, of Lincoln, Nebraska, died Sunday, April 9, 2006.
Born Dec 30, 1952, at Lexington, Nebraska, to Lloyd and Margaret (Koch) Ramsey. 
Mike attended Lexington Public Schools, graduating in 1971.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd L. and Margaret Koch Ramsey.
Memorial services were held on Wednesday, April 12, 2006, at 7 p.m. 
Services will also be held Friday, April 14, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at 
Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington with private family inurnment.

Nona Rhinehart, 91, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died April 14, 2006.
Born in Hildreth, Nebraska, on November 18, 1914, to 
Dick and Eliza (Mennenga) Forden.
She met Reynolds Rhinehart in Franklin. 
They married on January 7, 1936, at Hildreth. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, 
Reynolds on Dec. 8, 2003; and two brothers Kennis and Rueben Forden. 
Funeral services were held on Apr. 18, 2006, at 11 a.m. at the American 
Lutheran Church, Gothenburg. 
Burial was in the Elwood Cemetery.

Connie Reeves, 67 of Cozad, Nebraska, died Apr15, 2006.
She was born Aug 14, 1938, at Bertrand, Nebraska, to Harold and 
Geraldine Griffith Clark. 
On Oct 27, 1956, she married Jack Reeves at Torrence, CA. 
Preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Bette Carlson; and three 
brothers-in-law, Dan Henry, Allan Phillips and Fred Carlson.
Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at 
the Church of Christ on Newell in Cozad. 
Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery south of Cozad.
Berryman Funeral Home of Cozad was in charge of arrangements.

Leona I. Beason, 43, of Sumner, Nebraska, died Apr 15, 2006.
She was born June 25, 1962, at Callaway, Nebraska, to William T. 
and Minnie (Ropers) Hanson.
Marriage to Charles Beason on Nov 6, 1984, at Broken Bow, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her father; brother, Lee; sister, Lucy; 
mother-in-law, Violet; and brothers-in-law, Gene and Goffrey.
Services were held Apr 19, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at Sumner Community 
Church-East Campus, in Sumner. 
Burial was in the Sumner Cemetery at Sumner.

Ruby Viola (Dodson) Ransdell, 87, of Lexington, Nebraska, died 
Apr 16, 2006, at her home in Lexington.
Born Sept 29, 1918, at Grandma Hanson's place in 
Gosper Co., Nebraska, to Walter and Ruth A. (Hanson) Dodson.
Married June 27, 1962 to Johnny Betram (Bert) Ransdell. 
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bert; and infant brother, Dale.
Services were held Apr 19, 2006, at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist 
Church in Lexington. 
Burial Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.

Ryan Lance Guill, 27, of West Point, Nebraska, formerly of 
Lexington, Nebraska, died at his home Apr 17, 2006, in West Point.
Born April 4, 1979, at Oakland, Nebraska to George Randall and 
Linda K. (McHale) Guill.
Preceded in death by his great-grandparents; grandpa Marvin 
McHale and grandpa Joe Klauz.
A service will be held Friday, Apr 21, 2006, at 4 p.m. at Evangelical 
Lutheran Church in Oakland.
A service will then be held Apr 24, 2006, at 11 a.m. at First United 
Methodist Church in Lexington.
Ryan's body will then be cremated with inurnment held at a later 
date in Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.

Sue Lorae Viter, 67, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died Apr 19, 2006, at her home.
She was born on Aug 5, 1938, to Leroy and Lois Wilson Bedford, in Sterling, Colorado. 
On February 28, 1956, she married Larry B. Viter in Cozad, Nebraska. 
Preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Larry; and one son, Gregory Allen.
Funeral services were held on Apr 24, 2006, at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 
Gothenburg. Burial was in the Gothenburg Cemetery. 

Kenneth Robbins, 91, died Apr 20, 2006, Elwood, Nebraska.
Born Oct 4, 1914, at Turkey Creek south of Smithfield, Nebraska, to 
Harry and Gertrude Clark Robbins. 
Served in the U. S. Army during World War II. 
On Sept 6, 1944, he married Evelyn Lewis. 
He was preceded in death by his wife in 1985; three infant sons; 
an infant brother; a sister, Loova Benton; and a niece, Arliss Buell.
Services were held at 11 a.m., Apr 24, 2006, at the First United 
Methodist Church in Elwood. 
Burial was in the Elwood Cemetery with military honors.
Berryman Funeral Home of Cozad was in charge of arrangements.

Wanda Fern Schneringer, 84,died Apr 17, 2006.
Born May 12,1921, in Callaway to George and Adel (Vollenweider) Sprouse. 
She married Homer Schneringer Dec 1943. 
Homer and Wanda were married 42 years beforel his death in 1985. 
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer; daughter, Linda; 
son, James; granddaughter, Denise; sister, Dolly Crandall; brothers, Nigel, 
Albert, and Waldo; and brother-in-law, Lewis Province.
Services were held Apr 20, 2006, at the United Methodist Church in Callaway. 
Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Callaway. 

Donald J. Beardslee, 77, of Seward, Nebraska, formerly of Lexington and 
Callaway, Nebraska, died Apr 20, 2006.
Born July 7, 1928, in Lexington to Harrison and Geraldine (Smith) Beardslee.
Preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Gerald; and great-grandson, 
Taylor Hickman.
Funeral services were held Apr 24, 2006, at 2 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral 
Home in Lexington. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Lexington.
