Waverly News Apr 2006 Funeral services for Dorothy Alice Todd of Fairbury were held Monday April 10 at the United Methodist Church in Fairbury. She died Wed., April 5, 2006. She was 93. Born Feb. 7, 1913 in Greenwood. Her parents, Edgar and Ollie Mabel Bell; husband, Chester Todd; brothers, Winfred, Charles, and Harold Bell; and one nephew preceded her in death. Burial was at Cedar Hill Cemetery near Greenwood. Services for Helen Ilg, formerly of Lincoln and Raymond, were held Wed., April 12 at St. Luke United Methodist Church. She died Thursday, April 6 in Omaha at the age of 91. Born July 24, 1914 to Franklin and Martha Ellen 'Mattie' (McKinney) Mulvane of Raymond. She married Clarence Ilg on Aug. 26, 1942 and was postmaster in Raymond for 25 years, retiring in 1977. Survivors include: sons and daughters-in-law, Loren D. and Lynne Ilg of Omaha and Lynn A. and Judith Ilg of Green Valley, Ariz.; four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Mildred Wedberg of Wahoo and Vera Ilg of Waverly. Preceded in death by her husband, Clarence; parents; brother; three sisters; and daughter-in-law, Mary Sue. Burial was at Oak Creek Cemetery in Raymond. Funeral services for Clyde Althouse of Eagle were held April 12 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Eagle. Died Friday, April 7 in Lincoln at the age of 88. Born to George and Elise (Allen) Althouse of Lincoln Dec. 31, 1917. He was U.S. Army World War II veteran. Preceded in death by his wife, Doris; parents; brother, Floyd; and sister-in-law, Annabelle. Burial was at the church cemetery. EAGLE - Berdyne E. Adams of Eagle died Wednesday, April 19, 2006. She was 87. Born to Ray and Esther (Rosenow) Clark of Alvo Dec. 16, 1918. Preceded in death by her husband, Melvin; parents; one brother; two sisters; and a granddaughter. Services will be held Friday, April 28 at Roper and Sons Chapel in Lincoln.
