Ridgway died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at his home in Culbertson at the age of 79. He was born May 14, 1926, at Holyoke, Colo., the son of Ernest and Meta (Runge) Ridgway. On Nov. 16, 1944, he entered the United States Army, serving during World War II. In 1947, he married Joan Miller. She preceded him in death. On Aug. 5, 1969, Lloyd married Wilma Jane (Wilson) Cox. He was preceded in death by three sisters, Fern Gonzales, Maxine Wooley and Dorothy Hall. Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 4, 2006, at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Culbertson. He married Adeline Fredricka Goos on Nov. 21, 1940. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred L. Kuhlmann, and three brothers, Hubert, Theodore and Edwin. Services will be Tuesday at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Cambridge. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Cambridge. Military committal will be given by the Cambridge American Legion Post. OBERLIN -- Kenneth H. Rydquist, 81, died Saturday (Feb. 25, 2006). He was born Jan. 3, 1925, in Decatur County. He married Ellenette Anderson on April 12, 1949. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ellenette in 1999; brother, Norris; and sisters, Muriel and Rena. Services will be Tuesday at Pauls Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Oberlin Cemetery. BEAVER CITY -- James Arthur Embrey, 81, died Friday (Feb. 24, 2006) at Norton County Hospital in Norton, Kan. He was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Maywood to Charles and Addie (Cowman) Embrey. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Following his discharge from the Army, he married Rosalie Ruth Perkins in Precept. Graveside services will be Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Greeley. OBERLIN -- Charlotte Hart, 64, died Monday (Feb. 27, 2006) in Hays, Kan. She was born April 12, 1941, in Waukesha, Wis., to William Cooper and Florence Starr. She married Gilbert J. Hart on Feb. 11, 1960, in Rockford, Ill. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Florence Cooper; a brother, William Cooper; and sisters, Florence Letts and Evelyn Croft.
