Memorial services were held July 5 at Blase Memorial Chapel of Gothenburg. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Born on Dec. 3, 1950, to Alfred L. and Darlene (Ward) Paul at North Platte. He was preceded in death by his mother and an infant son Jeremy. Veda Marie (Voss) WHITE, 82, of Lincoln, formerly of Gothenburg died July 1, 2006, at her home. A private family graveside service was held at Gothenburg on July 5 at 1 p.m. Born on April 29, 1924, to Henry Martin and Mary Rhoda Voss. Preceded in death by: her husband, Clyde; two children—Charles Henry and Bonnie Marie. July 13, 2006 Ethel JOHNSON, 77, of Gothenburg, died July 7, 2006, in Lincoln. Services were held on July 11, at the United Methodist Church of Gothenburg. Burial was at Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell. Born on June 8, 1929, at Arnold, to Ira M. and Alveda E. (Anderson) Henry. Preceded in death by: her parents, Ira and Alveda; a brother, Lawrence. July 13, 2006 Inez “Bonnie” RYAN, 89, of Gothenburg, died July 3, 2006. Mass of Christian Burial was held on July 7, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church. Burial was at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell. Born on Aug. 22, 1916, to Simon P. and Emma L. (Preston) Lark in Custer County, where she also attended rural school. Preceded in death by: her parents; a daughter, Veronica Gilbert; sister, Colleen Fredrickson. July 13, 2006 Robert “Bob” Dale WHIPPLE, 40, of Los Angeles, CA, formerly of Brady died on June 16, 2006, at Los Angeles. Memorial services will be held on July 15, at 9:30 a.m. at the American Lutheran Church of Gothenburg. Inurnment will be held at a later date at Rosehill Cemetery at Callaway. Born in Omaha on Feb. 17, 1966, and adopted by Eugene and Lucille (Shively) Whipple on March 22, 1966.
