RAYMOND - Funeral services for Patricia A. HARDESTY of Raymond were 
held Thursday, Sept. 28 at St. Mary's and St. Joseph's Catholic Church 
in Valparaiso. She died Sunday, Sept. 24 in Lincoln at the age of 70.
Born to James and Lillian (Schulling) Tolhurst of Lincoln Feb. 21, 1936. 
A graduate of Raymond High School. Preceded in death by her parents.
Burial was at Oak Creek Cemetery near Raymond. 

LINCOLN - Funeral services were held for Vietta M. (Card) SHORT of 
Lincoln on Monday, Oct. 2. She died Sept. 26, 2006 at the age of 86. 
Born to Charlie and Vietta M. (Tennyson) Card May 3, 1920. A graduate 
of Greenwood High School. Her husband, Jerome Short, preceded her 
in death. Survivors include her sister, Betty Ann (Card) Stewart of 
Greenwood; brother-in-law, Fred Gillig of Austin, Texas; nieces; 
nephews; and special family. Burial was at Greenwood Cemetery.

VIRGINIA - Keith Robert STUBBLEFIELD, 81, of Chester, VA passed 
away Friday Sept. 29, 2006 at his residence. He was the son of the 
late Dudley C. and Elsia V. Graham Stubblefield and was predeceased 
by his first wife Ethel Josephine Ellis Stubblefield and his second wife 
Rosemary Warren Stubblefield. A memorial service was held at the 
Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home Friday, Oct. 6.
