Tri-City Tribune Sept. 2006 Alice Marie DISHMAN, 91, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Aug 30, 2006 in Lexington. Born May 10, 1915, in Fairview, Kansas, to Jerry and Josephine (Hrabjet) Florian. She married Rollin White in 1934, and he died in an accident. She married Loren Dishman in 1947, and they were later divorced. She was preceded in death by three sisters, two brothers, one grandchild and one great-grandchild. At her request no funeral was held. Disposition was by cremation. Janet DYER, 19 of Cozad, Nebraska, formerly of Holdrege, NE, died Aug 31, 2006, near Darr, Nebraska, in an auto accident. Born Dec 14, 1986, at Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was preceded in death by a grandfather, Kenneth Lanning; and great-grandparents, Brode and Etta Lanning, Jim and Billie Montgomery, John Wombold, Joseph Dyer and Helen Cookingham. Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m. Sept 6, 2006, at the Mascot Bethel Church southwest of Holdrege. Irene Jeanne (Caron) BELLAMY, 85, died on Sept 2, 2006 in Lexington, Nebraska. Born on Oct 26, 1920, in Salem, Mass., to Sabastian and Adelaide (Bouchard) Caron. On Nov 26, 1942, she married Noble Bruce Bellamy. Noble preceded her in death on June 27, 1989. Preceded in death by her parents, six sisters, and five brothers. Graveside funeral services were held on Sept 7, 2006 at 1 p.m. at Fort McPherson National Cemetery. Gerald JARVIS, 78, died Sept 5, 2006, at his home in Cozad, Nebraska. Born July 19, 1928, at the log ranch in Custer Co. to Dean and Chloe Skelton Jarvis. He graduated from Loup County High School at Taylor and served in the U. S. Army. On February 9, 1952, he married Karolyn Bohy. Preceded in death by his wife in 1999; a grandson, Zackery Brown; and a sister, JoAnn Becker. Patricia PICKERING, 58, of Cozad, Nebraska, died Sept 7, 2006. Born March 30, 1948, at Lexington, NE, to Lewis and Anna Kristina (Bailey) Schultz. Married to Darrel Ray "Skip" Holbrook. The marriage later ended in divorce. She was then united in marriage to Lonnie Pickering on Feb 14, 1986, at Cozad. Preceded in death by her parents; two infant children; and sister-in-law, JoAnne Hawks. Funeral services were held Sept 11, 2006, at 1 p.m. at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Lexington. Burial was in Fort McPherson National Cemetery at Maxwell, Nebraska. Lawrence F. WEBER, 75, of Lexington, NE, died Sept 7, 2006. Born Aug 28, 1931, at Atlantic, Iowa, to Dr. Frank and Blanche (Hughes) Weber. He was united in marriage to Dee Macke on June 3, 1961, at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Lexington. Two children were blessed to this marriage, Steve and Sarah. He was preceded in death by his parents. Mass of Christian Burial was held Sept 11, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Burial was in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery at Lexington. Gary L. ALTIG, of Elwood, Nebraska, died Sept 7, 2006 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Born March 15, 1940, at Ogallala, Nebraska, to Harry and Myrtle (Pierce) Altig. Gary graduated from Ogallala High School with the Class of 1958. Marriage to Kathy Ronneker on Nov 16, 1957, at Julesburg, Colorado. Preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Donald. Services were held Sept 12, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at First Christian Church in Lexington. Burial was in the Robb Cemetery south of Lexington. Kay LINCH, 71, of Lexington, NE, died Sept 12, 2006, after suffering a fatal stroke. Born Mar 30, 1935, at Overton, Nebraska, to Walter and Carol (Ewing) Humphrey. Married Stanley Linch, on Jan 17, 1953, at Kearney. Preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter; brother, Wayne Humphrey; and stepfather, Francis Thomas. Funeral services were held Sept 15, 2006, at 2 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Lexington. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Darlene Grace COX KINNE, 79, died in Cambridge, Nebraska, on Sept 15, 2006. Born in Meridian, Kansas, on June 30, 1927, to Ralph E. and Katherine "Katie" (Kuehn) Wyman Sr. Married to Alva Cox; to this union one son, Steve, was born. On May 15, 1951, she married Lloyd Leonard Kinne. To this union three children, Elsie, Roy and Ed were born. Leonard preceded her in death on November 1, 1972. Preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Alva and Leonard; one brother, Robert; two sisters, Evelyn Brown, and Twila Areher; one grandchild, Susan Cox; one great-granddaughter, Mary Beth Heinen; and one great-grandchild. Funeral services were held at the Lockenour-Jones Mortuary in Cambridge on Sept 18, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. Interment was in the Wilsonville Cemetery in Wilsonville, Nebraska. Oneta (Ross) AREHART, 84, died in Elkhorn, NE, Sept 17, 2006. Funeral services were held at the West Center Chapel in Omaha, NE, Sept 20, 2006.
