Preceded in death by: parents; and brother, Arlie Dale Hansen. Burial was at Bethlehem Covenant Cemetery. GREENWOOD - Eugene R. EIKERMAN, 66, Greenwood farmer, died Mar 20, 2007. He was born in Lincoln on Nov. 12, 1940, to Raymond and Delia (Neben) Eikerman of rural Alvo. Preceded in death by parents and an infant sister. HAAS, 51, of Eagle were held Mar 26, 2007 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. He died Mar 22, 2007 in Lincoln. He was born Mar 22, 1956 in Lincoln to Lamar Lee and Gladys G. (Sieck) Haas. Preceded in death by his father, uncles, Melvin and Lester, and grandparents. WAVERLY - Funeral services for Priscilla HOY of Waverly were held Mar 9, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Waverly. She died Mar 5, 2007 in Lincoln at the age of 103. Born in Roca to George and Della (McAllister) Bronn Feb. 15, 1904. She was a retired schoolteacher with the Lincoln Public Schools and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waverly. She and husband, Raymond, who is deceased, had two sons. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Harlan and Judy Hoy of Waverly and Bernard 'Bud' Hoy of Arvado, Colo.; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. Her husband and parents preceded her in death. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery. In June 1986, her husband passed away. Preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers Maurice McCrory and Edward McCrory; three sisters, Edna Thimgan, Lelo McCrory and Sarah McCrory. Funeral services were held at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Murdock on Mar 31. 2007. Interment followed at the Walbash Cemetery in rural Murdock. Born on Aug. 24, 1952 to Richard and Frances (Lewis) Timm in Omaha. Served in the U. S. Navy & was involved in at least one mission to Vietnam. Married Sharon Zaugg in 1973. His father, Richard Timm, preceded him in death. Funeral service was held April 13, 2007 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Yutan. Interment was at Hollst Lawn Cemetery in Yutan with Military Honors. WESTON - Adeline M. VASA, 80, of Weston, died April 10, 2007. Born July 23, 1926 to James and Mary (Polak) Egr at Prague. On April 9, 1947, married Milo M. Vasa at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church at Plasi. Her husband, Milo; an infant son, John M. Vasa, and a brother, Victor Egr, preceded her in death. BENES, 65, of Geneva, formerly of Touhy, died April 17, 2007 in Hastings after a short battle with cancer. Born on Oct. 11, 1941, to Anton T. and Lillian M. (Tvrdy) Benes. Married Sharon Kaspar on April 15, 1967, at St. Francis Church at David City. They had two children, Michael and Becky. Preceded in death by his parents, and son, Michael Benes. Born Sept. 8, 1925, to Richard and Ora (Neff) Heald on the family farm near Mead. Graduated from Fremont High School in 1944. Married Margaret Nelson Converse on March 23, 1967. Preceded in death by his parents, brother, Benn Heald, sister, Jean Roberts; son-in-law, Gary Dunbar; brother-in-law, Vernon Hawkinson, a great-grandchild and a niece. Funeral services were held April 21, 2007 at the Cedar Hill Methodist Church. Internment followed at Cedar Hill Cemetery. LINCOLN - Eldon L. 'Bud' KUHN, 76, of Lincoln, died April 17, 2007. Born April 21, 1930, to Ernest and Sylvia (Smith) Kuhn in Havelock. Chief Master Sgt. in the Nebraska Air National Guard, the first to achieve this rank in the Nebraska Air National Guard. Spent four years in the U. S. Air Force and 34 1/2 years in Nebraska Air National Guard retiring in 1987. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Gerald Stahly. Funeral service was held April 20, 2007 at St. Mark's United Methodist Church in Lincoln. ASHLAND - Norma Clare MOSLEY, 79, of Ashland, died April 17, 2007. Born on Mar 28, 1928, in Omaha to Homer O. and Anona T. (Paulson) Mosley. Preceded in death by her parents. Survived by her sister, Carol Nelson of Sun Valley, Idaho and brothers Bruce Mosley of Sacramento, Calif. and Keith Mosley of Ashland. She bequeathed her body to the Anatomical Board of the State of Nebraska assigned to the University of Nebraska. No services held. NORTH BEND - Rose L. NESLADEK, 96, of North Bend, formerly of Morse Bluff died April 27, 2007. Born July 17, 1910, to Frank and Rose (Matejek) Blatny in Weston. She grew up in the Weston, Bruno and Morse Bluff areas. Married Frank Hanis on May 19, 1931 in Prague. He died on Nov. 24, 1966. Married Philip J. Nesladek on Aug. 30, 1969 at Abie. He died March 26, 1989. Preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, four brothers, Frank, Joe, Ted and Ernest Blatny; a sister, Josephine Belik; a stepdaughter, Joan Van Ampting; and grandchildren, Jeffrey Hanis and Jan Hallowell. DWIGHT - Martha Rita NIEMANN, 81, of Dwight, died April 21, 2007. Martha was born Feb. 19, 1926, to James Albert and Lillian (Pelan) Pavel on a farm near Dwight. On Mar 17, 1961 she was united in marriage to Leonard Niemann in York. Her parents, her husband, Leonard "Connie" Niemann in 2005; and an infant son, Gary Fiala, preceded her in death. OMAHA - Sister Dolores PAVLIK, ND, 96, died at the Notre Dame Motherhouse on April 19, 2007. Born in Omaha in 1910 and attended Assumption Grade School in South Omaha. In 1928 she became a member of the first graduating class of Notre Dame Academy, which was established in 1926. On Aug. 13, 1931, Sister Dolores pronounced her vows in the Congregation of the Notre Dame Sisters. She was a teacher and administrator at various places where the Notre Dame Sisters served in the Midwest. Her sister, Helen Pavlik David; and numerous nieces and nephews survive her. Liturgy of Christian Burial: April 24, 2007 at the Notre Dame Motherhouse with burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Omaha. The funeral of Suzanna V. TYSHKUN of rural Waverly was April 20, 2007 at Rosemont Alliance Church, in Lincoln. Graveside service held at Fairview Cemetery. Suzanna, 12 years old, died April 13, 2007 from injuries received in a car accident.
