Grant Co. Tribune Aug 2007 Oress FULLER was born on Oct. 16, 1923 at Mullen, Neb. Youngest of three sons born to Oress and Stella Strawder Fuller. He served in the U. S. Army in WW II. Married to Betty Cunningham on Mar 30, 1946 in Oberlin, Kan., Oress died peacefully in his sleep at Westview on July 27, 2007. He had reached the age of 83. In addition to his parents, Oress was preceded in death by his two brothers, Harold and Floyd. Funeral services were July 31 at the Wallace United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Wallace Morningview Cemetery with a military tribute by the Wallace American Legion. Bullock-Long Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Lloyd CORNELIUS was born on April 2, 1917 at Alda, Neb. The 4th child of Charles and Mable Fosbinder Cornelius. Married to Myrrl Gregg on Nov. 29, 1939. Myrrl died in 1975 and Lloyd was married to Velda (Jackson) Ling-bloom on April 13, 1976. Velda died in June and Lloyd died July 30, 2007. He had reached the age of 90. In addition to his parents and two wives, Lloyd was preceded in death by two sisters, Jessie Erlewine and Lela Tjaden; two brothers, Vernon and Leroy Cornelius; and infant daughter, Alice Louise; and his stepson, Rick Lingbloom. Services were held Aug. 2, 2007 at the Wallace United Methodist Church. Interment was in Morningview Cemetery in Wallace. Mary Lou JAMESON was born on June 20, 1928 at Ashland, Neb. She was second of five children born to Ray and Violet Stickney Bower. Mary met Dwight Jameson in Lincoln and they were married at her parents' farm home near Ashland on Jan. 20, 1952. Mary died on July 31, 2007 at the Jameson farm east of Elsie. She had reached the age of 79. Preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Everett Bower and one sister, Ethel Pollard. Services were held Aug. 3 at the Elsie United Methodist Church. Interment was in the Elsie Cemetery with a tribute by Eastern Star. Ervin "Fuzz" HARRIS was born in Chase Co., on Dec. 14, 1934. He was the second of eight children born to James Albert "Bert" and Ruby Kidd Harris. Married to Caroline "Corrine" Styskal on May 24, 1956 in Scottsbluff, Neb. He died Aug. 11, 2007 at the age of 72. In addition to his parents and wife, Fuzz was preceded in death by one brother Jim Harris; one sister Helen Harris; and a young daughter Tonia Jo Harris. Funeral services were held Aug. 14, 2007 at the Grant United Methodist Church. Burial was in the Grant Cemetery. Bullock-Long Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Vivene ANDERSON was born on a farm homestead near Potter, Neb., on Sept. 4, 1914. She was the third of five children born to Fred and Lula Humrich McBride. Married to Andrew 'Andy' Anderson on Dec. 23, 1932 at the Methodist parsonage in Ogallala. In addition to her parents and husband, Vivene was preceded in death by her daughter Arlene and her husband Harold Harms; three brothers, Earl, George and Wallace McBride; and one sister Gloria Daigle. Services were held Aug. 11, 2007 at the Golden Ours Convalescent Home Chapel in Grant. Interment was in the Grant Cemetery. Burton BOGAERT was born on Dec. 23, 1918 southeast of Grant, Neb., at the Bogaert farmstead. He was the oldest of three children born to Albert and Selina French Bogaert. Married to Betty Evans on Sept. 12, 1942 at the Methodist parsonage in Ogallala, Neb. On Aug. 12, 2007, he suffered an apparent heart attack and died. He had reached the age of 88. In addition to his parents, Burton was preceded in death by an infant brother, Eldon. Graveside services held Aug 16, 2007 at the Grant Fairview Cemetery. Bullock-Long Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Keith Dwight POWELL was born May 30, 1921, at Crab Orchard, Neb., to Carl and Alice (Walrod) Powell. Entered the U.S. Army Air Corp. in Sept. of 1942. He was honorably discharged in November of 1945. On Aug. 22, 1942, married Evalynne Saum at Farnum, Neb. He died Aug. 1, 2007. He was 86 years of age. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Evalynne, son Donald, brothers Sterling and Everett. Graveside services were held Aug. 4, 9:30 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery, Imperial. Clarice ROSENTRATER was born on Dec. 21, 1918 at Yuma, Colorado. She was the sixth of eight children born to Walter and Alice Pesch Stevenson. Married to Malvin Rosentrater on Oct. 28, 1943 at the First Lutheran Church in North Platte. She died on Aug. 12, 2007, age of 88. In addition to her parents, Clarice was preceded in death by four sisters, Hetty Goedert, Susie Zimmerman, Ella Green and Mickey Newtson; one brother, Bob Stevenson; one son, Dan Rosen-trater and one grandson, Troy Rosentrater.
