Funeral services for James OSWALD, 75, of Beemer, were July 27, 2007, at 
the Beemer Mennonite Church in Beemer with private family burial in the 
Beemer Cemetery. James died July 24, 2007. Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral
Home was in charge of arrangements.

Donald Dean LEFFLER, 75, of West Point, died July 17, 2007, at his home. 
Mass of Christian burial was July 28, 2007, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. 
Burial with military honors at St. Michael's Cemetery. Stokely Funeral Home 
was in charge of arrangements.

Melvin BREITKREUTZ, 79, died July 29, 2007 in West Point. 
Funeral services were Aug. 1, 2007, at the Grace Lutheran Church 
in West Point. Burial with military honors by West Point V.F.W. Post 
#4912 was at Mt. Hope Cemetery in West Point. Kuzelka-Minnick 
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Geraldine, (Geri) YOSTEN, 77, are Aug. 3, 2007, at 
10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Public wake services will be 
7:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial at St. 
Michael's Cemetery. Stokely Funeral Home is in charge of 
arrangements. Geri died Aug. 1, 2007.

Joyce JENSEN died Aug. 2, 2007, at Norfolk. Funeral services were 
Aug. 6, 2007, at First Baptist Church, Wayne. Interment at Greenwood 
Cemetery, Wayne.Hasemann-Schumacher Funeral Home, Wayne, was in 
charge of arrangements.

Joseph KULHANEK, 71, of Howells, died July 31, 2007, in Omaha. 
Mass of Christian burial was Aug. 4, 2007, at St John's Catholic 
Church in Howells. Burial was at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in 
Howells with Military Honors conducted by Albin Folda Post 155 
of the American Legion. Svoboda Funeral Home of Schuyler was 
in charge of arrangements.

Matilda "Tillie" PEKNY, 83, of Clarkson, died July 31, 2007 in Norfolk.
Mass of Christian Burial was Aug. 4, 2007, at SS Cyril and Methodius 
Catholic Church in Clarkson. Burial at Clarkson Catholic Cemetery.
Miller Funeral Home of Clarkson was in charge of arrangements.

Deloris E. SCHULTZ, 83, of Scribner died July 31, 2007 in West Point. 
The funeral was Aug. 3, 2007, in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Scribner. 
Burial in the Scribner Cemetery. Ludvigsen's Scribner Funeral Chapel 
was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Harold EICHELBERGER, 84, of Beemer were 
Aug. 13, 2007, at the Beemer Mennonite Church. Burial was in 
the Beemer Cemetery. He died on Aug. 8, 2007. Kuzelka-Minnick 
Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.

Ralph S. WHITE, 66, died Aug. 2, 2007, at his home in Oklahoma City, Okla.
He was preceded in death by a son, Billie, and his father, Ralph E. White.

Jana S. PEITZMEIER, 41, rural Ames, died Aug. 15, 2007, at home after 
a long battle with brain cancer. The funeral mass was Aug. 18, 2007, in 
St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in North Bend. Burial was in the 
Elmwood Cemetery in St. Paul. Preceded in death by her father Stanley 
K. Verley and grandparents. 

Rodney BEHLERS, 68, Norfolk, died Aug. 8, 2007. Funeral services 
were from St. John's Church, Norfolk with burial in Norfolk. Preceded
in death by his parents.

Merlin HORST, 84, died Aug. 21, 2007, in West Point. Funeral services 
Aug. 25, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Beemer. Burial in the Beemer 
Cemetery. 

Funeral services for Vernita (Mrs. Russell) VANDERWORKER, 80, of 
West Point, Aug. 25, at 10 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West Point. 
Burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Vernita died on Aug. 22, 2007.

Anne F. WOLFF died on Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007. Anne's remains were 
forwarded to the NE Anatomical Board for study at CU University Medical 
Center. A Memorial Mass was celebrated on Sept. 1, 2007 at Mary Our 
Queen Church in Omaha. 

Donald (Don) H. MAHLER, 80, of Thurston, died on Aug. 23, 2007 in Pender. 
Funeral services were Aug. 27, 2007, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Pender. 
Burial with military rites was by the Thurston American Legion Post#372 in 
St. Mark's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Pender. 

Funeral services for Sybil (Meyer) NEIMAN were Aug. 30, 2007, at 
Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Rapid City, SD. Sybil died Aug. 24, 2007, in 
Custer, SD.

Funeral services for Vernita (Mrs. Russell) VANDERWORKER, 80, of West Point
were Aug. 25, 2007, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in West Point. Burial was in 
the Mt. Hope Cemetery with a U.S. Flag presentation. She died on Aug. 22, 2007.

Donald Richard MEYER, 80, of Oakland, died Aug. 27, 2007 in Sioux City, Iowa.
Funeral Services were Aug. 30, 2007, at St. John's Lutheran Church on the 
County Line. Cremation followed the services with burial in the church 
cemetery at a later date. Preceded in death by his parents.
