Rick NORRIS, 41, of Columbus, NE, died Nov 29, 2007, at his home. 
Funeral services were held Dec 3 at the First United Methodist Church in Columbus. 
Interment was in the Jackson Cemetery near Duncan, NE. Preceded in death by his 
grandparents Louis and Alma (Saalfeld) Blaser, Jr. and Ray and Lillian (Barker) Norris. 

Alliene L. KRUMBACH, age 81, of Shelby, NE, died Nov 20, 2007 in Lincoln, NE.
Funeral services were Nov 24, 2007 at Shelby Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  
Interment was in the Shelby Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Preceded in death 
by her husband Francis; one brother Emil DeBaets; five sisters, Josephine White, 
Sara Louden, Martha Smith, Bertha Smith and Janet Sobieszyk.

Willard L. ANDERSON, age 94, of Stromsburg, NE, died Nov 19, 2007.
Funeral services were Nov 24, 2007 at Salem Lutheran Church.  Interment was 
in the Stromsburg cemetery. Dubas Funeral Home of Stromsburg and Osceola 
was in charge of arrangements. Preceded in death by his wives Inez and Hazel; 
two sons Devern Willard and Warren Lee; one grandson Shawn Henderson; one 
sister Josephine Branting; and two brothers, Elton and Robert S. Anderson.

Marguerite KLONE age 87 of Clinton, Iowa – formerly of York, NE, died Nov 23, 2007.  
Preceding her in death was Weselyn, her loving husband of many years, her 
parents, and one infant son. Funeral services Nov 29, 2007 at the First Presbyterian 
Church in York.  Interment in York’s Greenwood Cemetery.  

William “Billie” T. SIFFRING, age 33, of Rising City, died Nov 23, 2007 in Burnsville, MN.
Born Jan 3, 1974 at Omaha, NE to Gary and DeEtte (Hoffman) Siffring. Preceded in 
death by an infant sister Lynette; grandparents Chris and Pauline Siffring, Thelma 
Siffring, Carl Hoffman and Carl Hall. Services were held Nov 28, 2007 at Faith 
Evangelical Lutheran Church of Rising City. Burial was in Faith West Cemetery in 
rural Rising City with military rites by Shelby Legion Post. Chermok Funeral Home 
in David City was in charge of arrangements.   

Ronald Morris BROCKAVELT, 58 of Gothenburg, NE died on Dec 18, 2007.
Memorial services were held Dec 21, 2007 at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel in 
Gothenburg, NE. Preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Margaret Brockevelt.

Virginia L. ANDERSON, age 83, of Hayward, WI, died Dec 17, 2007 at her home. 
Virginia Lenore was born on Sept 2, 1924 in Stromsburg, NE, to Edwin and 
Olga (Elving) Anderson. Preceded in death by Edwin and Olga Anderson. 
Funeral services were held at Bethel Baptist Church in Hayward. Interment was 
in Sunset Cemetery in Minneapolis, MN. Anderson-Nathan-Koerpel Funeral Home 
of Hayward was in charge of arrangements. 

Edna Garnet ANDERSON, age 90, of Columbus, formerly of Stromsburg, died 
Dec 12, 2007. Funeral services were held Dec 17, 2007 at Trinity Lutheran 
Church in Polk. Burial was in the Arborville Cemetery near Polk. Dubas Funeral 
Home of Osceola and Stromsburg was in charge of arrangements. Preceded in 
death by her parents, three husbands, her three children, and two brothers 
Lloyd and Rolland Von Hausen. 

Doris Rose CLELAND age 72 of York died Dec 14, 2007. Born Mar 17, 1935 at 
Loup City, NE to William and Myrtle (Rogers) Schnase. June 3, 1961 married 
Eldsworth S. Cleland in Lincoln, NE. Preceding her in death were her parents, 
son David and twin sons Dean & Daniel; a  brother John; brothers-in-law
Ivan and LaVerne. Funeral services Dec 18, 2007 at East Hill Church of Christ. 
Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in York.

Geraldine “Gerrie” Elizabeth TALLMAN, 75, of Polk, died at her home on 
Dec 10, 2007. Funeral services were held Dec 13, 2007 at the Evangelical 
Free Church in Polk. Interment was in the Fairview Cemetery at Smith 
Center, KS. Solt Funeral Home of Polk was in charge of arrangements. 
Preceded in death by her parents and one brother Glen West.
