Born Jan. 10, 1915 to Caspar V. and Anna Urania I. (Cronholm) Larsen in Brooklyn, NY. On August 7, 1948 married Charlotte L. Ratcliff at Stratton, NE. Preceded in death by his parents Caspar and Anna Urania Larsen and one sister Annie (Larsen) Brady. Gregory Warren JOHNSON, 54, of Sutton, died Feb. 2, 2007 at his home in Sutton. Services were: Feb. 7, 2007 at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sutton. Interment was in the Saron Lutheran Cemetery near Saronville. Sutton Memorial Chapel was in charge of arrangements. Born Dec. 10, 1952 on Highway 6 in Clay Co., NE to Ervin and Janice (Heinz) Johnson. He was engaged to Tammy Knight October 4, 2005 and a June 2007 wedding was being planned. He was preceded in death by his parents. Carl Reuel SWARD, age 59 of York, died Feb. 4, 2007 at Lincoln. Born May 13, 1947 at Stromsburg, NE to Reuel C. and Ruth Shalberg Sward. Survived by two sisters Miriam Sward of Omaha and Elaine (Steve) Spady of York; niece Stephanie Spady of Brooklyn, NY and nephew Andrew Spady of Lincoln. Also surviving is his York Mosaic family and a host of friends. Preceded in death by his parents and his sister Annette. Funeral services: Feb. 7, 2007 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Burial took place in the Swede Home Cemetery near Stromsburg. Adeline “Della” STANCZYK, 96, of Silver Creek, died Jan. 26, 2007 in Osceola. Services were: Feb. 1, 2007 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Silver Creek. McKown Funeral Home in Silver Creek and Columbus was in charge of arrangements. Born Oct. 15, 1910 in Merrick Co. to John and Stella (Dubas) Swertzic. Married Frank Stanczyk on Oct. 16, 1934 at Ss. Peter and Paul Church-Krakow. Preceded in death by her husband Frank; her parents; brothers Dominic Swertzic, Adolph Swertzic, Charles Swertzic, John Swertzic, Alvin Swertzic and Ben Swertzic; and sisters Victoria Kusek and Barbara Swertzic. Charles L. SOLL, age 83, of Osceola, Nebraska, passed away Jan. 28, 2007. Funeral services were Feb. 1, 2007 at Calvary Lutheran Church, Swede Home, Nebraska. Graveside services and interment: Feb. 1 at the Columbus Cemetery with Military Rites. Born Mar. 15, 1923 to Henry P. and Katie A. (Hagedorn) Soll at Bennington, Nebraska. Served in the U.S. Army during WW II. On Oct. 15, 1952 marriage to Letha A. Viergutz at their home in rural Polk County. To this union five children were born. Preceded in death by his parents Henry and Katie Soll; brother and sister-in-law Lester and Hertha Soll; brother Ed Soll; sister and brother-in-law Louise and John Dyer; and brother and sister-in-law Bill and Florence Soll. Frances A. SUNDAY, age 80, of David City, passed away Feb. 14, 2007. Funeral services: Feb. 19th at 10:00 a.m. at Redeemer Lutheran Church in David City. Burial was in the David City Cemetery. Chermok Funeral Home in David City was in charge of arrangements. Born Jan. 28, 1927 at Topeka, KS to Edgar and Gertrude (Meyer) Degan.
