Preceded in death by his father, Don and grandparents. Burial service was Jan. 4, 2007, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Arapahoe. Internment was in the Arapahoe Cemetery. Mary Patricia SCHNACKENBERG, 73, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died on Jan. 2, 2007, in Kearney, Nebraska. B. Apr. 2, 1933, in Merna, Nebraska, to Almor and Dorothy (Powers) Juel. M. Jan. 9, 1956, Robert Walter "Bob" Schnackenberg in Ogallala, Nebraska. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob, April 6, 1993; and three brothers, Sylvester, Louis and Wilfred. Services: Jan. 6, 2007, at the American Lutheran Church, Gothenburg. Burial was in the Gothenburg Cemetery. Neil E. "Woody" WOODWARD, 89, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Jan. 4, 2007. B. Oct. 8, 1917, at Overton, Nebraska, to Frank and Ethel (Smith) Woodward. Neil married Gladyce Rasmussen White on April 30, 1941, at Norton, Kansas. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gladyce in 2002; one sister; and two brothers. Services: Jan. 8, 2007, Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Esther L. BERKE, age 81, of Kearney, Nebraska, formerly of Eustis, Nebraska, died Jan. 5, 2007. B. May 27, 1925, at Eustis, the youngest child of Gottlieb and Katherine Elser Schmeeckle. On August 15, 1954, married to Floyd Berke at St. John's Lutheran Church in Eustis. Preceded in death by an infant brother and two brothers, Herman and Lawrence; and a sister, Helen Kinser. Services: Jan. 9, 2007, at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Eustis. Burial was in the East Cemetery in Eustis. Marjorie BOSE, 82, of rural Oxford, Nebraska, died Jan. 6, 2007,in Alma, Nebraska. B. Nov. 28, 1923, to Oliver and Mildred (Russell) Olson at their rural home near Carter, Nebraska. Married to Dean Bose on Feb. 26, 1944. Preceded in death by her husband, Dean; an infant son, Roger; and daughter, Sally. Services: Jan. 11, 2007. A private burial at the Carter Cemetery. Opal Alice KIRSTEIN, 88, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died Jan. 7, 2007. B. on July 11, 1918, to John and Etta (Rings) Kraft in rural Wheeler Co., Nebraska On March 16, 1938, she married Everett LeRoy Kirstein. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett, June 12, 1985; one sister, Hazel Hauser; four brothers, Dale, Donald, John and William Kraft; and one son-in-law, Brian Wagenaar.
