Florence Mae YOST of Imperial died Oct. 7, 2007. She was 86. 
Funeral services were Oct. 12, 2007 at the Berean Fundamental Church 
in Imperial. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Imperial. 
Liewer Funeral Home of Imperial is in charge of the arrangements. 

Dorothy I. STATZ was born May 2, 1919 to Ralph and Josie Knight in Nickerson, Neb. 
Married Frederick W. Statz on Aug. 19, 1936 in Benkelman, Neb. and to this union 10 
children were born. She passed away in Tucson, Ariz. on Sept. 28, 2007.
Fred died in Mar 1978. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred; daughter, Ruth in 1962; 
son, Frederick "Bill" in 1971; her parents, Ralph Knight and Josie Kunkel; step father, Morris 
Kunkel; brother, Delbert Knight in 2001; step brother, Max Kunkel; and step sister 
Marguerite Kunkel. A graveside memorial service was held on Oct. 9, 2007 at Mt. Hope 
Cemetery. Liewer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Mary Lou MARSHALL, 69, of Superior, Neb., born in Abdel, Neb., on Dec. 16, 1937 
to Walter and Agnes Peterson. On Sept 15, 1956 married Charles E. Marshall at Bethel 
Lutheran Church at Abdal, Neb. Preceded in death by her parents. Memorial services 
were held Oct. 6, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church in Superior. 

E. LeRoy CRANWELL, age 85, of Greeley, Colo. died Oct. 5, 2007 in Greeley.
Born to Willis Clifton Cranwell and Mary Abigail (Marshall) Cranwell on Mar 13, 1922 
in Lamar, Neb. Served in the Navy from 1942 to 1945. He served in WWII in both 
the European Theatre and the Pacific Theatre. Married Jeri Wilcox in Holyoke, Colo. 
on March 16, 1947. Preceded in death by his parents, brother Myrl Cranwell and 
sister Darlene Paap. Funeral services were held  Oct. 9, 2007 at Hillside Baptist 
Church with Stoddard Funeral Home of Greeley, Colo. in charge of arrangements.
Interment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens. 

Lucille Irene WAY was born on Sept. 29, 1913, at Bellwood, Neb., to Cor L. 
and Mayme A. (Bailett) Harris. Married Clarence Wayne Way on Aug. 24, 1933, 
in Rising City. Lucille passed away Oct. 19, 2007, at her home in Champion. 
She was 94 years of age. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence, 
in 1991; three brothers; two sisters; granddaughter, Kim Meyers, and 
great-grandson, Travis Courter. Graveside services were held Oct. 23, 2007 at 
the Crete Cemetery, rural Champion.
