Tri-City Tribune Sept 2007 Bob KRASON, 81 of Cozad, NE, died Sept 3, 2007. Born July 16, 1926, at Elyria to Ignatius and Frances Kozel Krason. Entered the U.S. Army where he served in WWII. On July 27, 1949, married Lillian Hlavica in Burwell, Nebraska. Mass of the Christian Burial was held Sept 7, 2007, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial was in the Cozad Cemetery with Military Honors. Richard W. BARMORE, died Sept 3, 2007, at his family's mountain cabin in Allenspark, Colorado. Born Aug 19, 1929, at Lincoln, NE, to Fred H. and Grace V. (Staton) Barmore. Spent two years in the U. S. Navy. Upon his return to Lexington, began his work as a well-respected pharmacist, a career that lasted for more than 50 years. On June 25, 1953, married Wauneta Seaman at Fremont, Nebraska. She preceded him in death May 15, 2001. He then married to Nova Workman on May 1, 2004, at the First Presbyterian Church at Lexington. Preceded in death, besides his first wife, by his parents; infant brother; grandson, Steven; and step-son, Chuck. His body was cremated. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held Sept 8, 2007, at First Presbyterian Church in Lexington. Lloyd ETHERTON, 80, died Sept 4, 2007, at his home south of Cozad, NE. Born Nov 19, 1926, near Eustis, Nebraska, to Henry and Grace Mills Etherton. Entered the U.S. Army where he served in the Korean War. In June of 1961 he married Kay Ristine at Gothenburg, Nebraska. Preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Violet Brooks. Services were held Sept 7, 2007, at the First Presbyterian Church in Cozad with Ethel Fox officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery south of Cozad with military honors. Berryman Funeral Home of Cozad was in charge of arrangements. Bernice EICH, 103 of Cozad, NE, died Sept 8, 2007. Born April 5, 1904, north of Eustis, Nebraska, to Robert H. and Bessie Van Nortwick Walker. In 1920, she married Paul Laier in Holdrege, Nebraska. Mr. Laier preceded her in death in 1985. In 1987, she married Johnnie Eich. Mr. Eich preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her son, Robert; an infant daughter; and a sister, Mildred Rake. Services were held Sept 12, 2007, at the Church of Christ on Newell in Cozad. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery south of Cozad. Betty Anne MARCHAND, 72, of Gothenburg, Nebraska, died on Sept 9, 2007. Born on July 13, 1935 to, James Newton and Nellie Nutt McKim at Gothenburg. Married Doug in 1960. They later divorced. She then married Lupe Gonzalez on Oct 12, 1974. Lupe passed away in April 1994. She then married Henry "Frenchie" Marchand in August 1995. He passed away in April 1997. Preceded in death by her parents, and her husbands.
