Marguerite MARTINEK, 102, of West Point, formerly of Scribner, died 
Mar 28, 2008. A funeral Mass was Apr 1, 2008, at St. Lawrence 
Catholic Church in Scribner. Burial was in St. Leo's Catholic Cemetery 
in Snyder. Survivors include nieces, nephews and friends.

Burton SCHMOLDT, 80, of Alliance, died Mar 31, 2008, at his home. 
Funeral services April 4, 2008 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Alliance. 
Burial in the Calvary Cemetery. 

Funeral services for Esther LIERMANN, 86, of Wisner, were Mar 31, 2008
at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wisner. Burial was in the Wisner Cemetery. 
Esther died Mar 27, 2008.

William F. (Bill) COOPER, 84, died April 2, 2008, Tekamah. Funeral services 
were April 4, 2008, at Moser Memorial Chapel, Fremont. Burial was at the 
Tekamah Cemetery with military graveside services conducted by the 
Fremont Honor Guard of VFW Post #854 and American Legion Post #20.

Marilyn J. SCHULZ, 65, died April 12, 2008, at her home in Beemer. 
Funeral services were April 15, 2008, at Christ Lutheran Church in 
Wisner, with burial in the Beemer Cemetery.

Mathilda C. "Tillie" ORTMEIER, 94, of West Point died April 13, 2008.
Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur in Dec 1982; son, William; 
brothers, Winston Strehle and Frank Strehle, Jr.; sisters, Mary Monson 
and Viola Steffl; and a brother in infancy.

Funeral services were held April 14, 2008 for Mary A. (Harms) 
GASPARANI, 59, of Omaha at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church 
in Omaha. Burial will be held at a later date in the Olean 
Cemetery, rural Dodge.

Anton Bernard STEFFENSMEIER, 95, formerly of Dodge, died April 21, 2008
in Fremont. Mass of Christian burial was April 24, 2008, at St. Wenceslaus 
Catholic Church in Dodge. Burial in St. Wenceslaus Cemetery. 

Paul Joseph PIEPER, 92, of Dodge died April 20, 2008 in Omaha, NE.
Mass of Christian burial was April 23, 2008, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic 
Church. Burial was at the church cemetery. 

Funeral services for Edna GEISLER, 88, of Norfolk were April 22, 2008, at 
Christ Lutheran Church. Burial at the Lyons Cemetery in Lyons. Edna died 
April 19, 2008.

Shirley M. MALLETTE, 72, Uehling, died April 16, 2008, at her home after a 
long battle with cancer. A memorial service was held April 19, 2008, at First 
Congregational Church in Uehling. Burial in the Uehling Cemetery.

Funeral services for Elsie PRAZAK of Clarkson were held April 30, 2008
at New Zion Presbyterian Church in Clarkson. Burial in the Clarkson 
National Cemetery. Elsie, age 94, died April 24, 2008. Miller Funeral 
Home of Clarkson was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Helen JOHNSON age 84 of Wisner, were April 29, 2008
at the Christ Lutheran Church in Wisner. Burial was in the Concord Cemetery 
at Concord. Helen died on April 26, 2008, in Beemer.
