Kevin WAPELHORST, age 49, of Scribner died Nov. 28, 2008, at his home. 
Funeral services were Dec. 3, 2008, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Snyder. 
Burial was at the Scribner Cemetery. Ludvigsen Scribner Funeral Chapel 
was in charge of arrangements.

Jeannie KREIKEMEIER, 58, of West Point died Dec 9, 2008. 
Memorial Mass Dec. 12, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in West Point.

Services for Lois GORDON, 89, of Fremont were held Dec. 8, 2008, at 
Trinity Lutheran Church, Fremont. Burial was in Memorial Cemetery.

Services for Elizabeth C. WATCHORN, age 74, of Fremont were held
Dec. 10, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fremont. Burial was in 
Memorial Cemetery. 

Funeral services for Rod SLONECKER, 66, of Wisner, were held Dec 10
at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner. Burial was in the Wisner Cemetery 
with Military Honors by American Legion Post #85 and VFW Post #5767 
of Wisner. 

Funeral services for Norma J. CONKLIN, 69, of Winslow, formerly of 
Beemer, were Dec. 9, 2008 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. 

Graveside services for Naoma (HAASE) PAULL ROLFE, 93, of Springfield, Ore.
at Alsea Cemetery, Alsea, Ore. Naoma died at Sweetbriar Villas in 
Springfield, Ore., on Dec. 5, 2008. She was preceded in death by her 
first husband; four sisters, Frieda Schmidt, Erna Schmidt, Lorna 
Schmidt, Louise Buchholz, and one brother, John Haase.

Services for Jim F. KELLY III, age 63, of Fort Calhoun, were held 
Dec. 17, 2008, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Fort Calhoun. 
Burial was in Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Services for Betty Lou Clark ROSENBOOM, 78, of Oakland were held 
Dec. 15, 2008, at the First Baptist Church in Oakland. Burial was in 
Pioneer Cemetery, rural Oakland. She was preceded in death by 
her parents; and husband, Glen on June 26, 1989.

Mildred Johanne STUCKENSCHMIDT, 90, of Manhattan, Kan., formerly of 
Pender, died on Dec. 9, 2008, in Manhattan, Kan. Funeral services 
were held Dec. 18, 2008, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Pender. 
Internment at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery. She was 
preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leo; her 
daughter, Joann Albright; and a sister, Pauline Morse.

Agnes Anna SPANEL died Dec. 18, 2008, at her home in Broken Bow 
at the age of 97 years, 11 months, and 18 days. Funeral services 
were at St. Anselm's Catholic Church in Anselmo on Dec. 23, 2008. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph; her parents; 
a sister, Alice Sedlacek; a brother, Frank Cerny, Jr.; a 
grandson, Bradley Myers; and a great-great-grandson, Ryan Stauffer.

Dale Edward BURNS, 71, Hammond, Ind., died Dec. 17, 2008. Funeral 
services were Dec. 20, 2008, with burial in Calumet Avenue Cemetery.

Louise Elizabeth GRALHEER, 88, of West Point, died Dec. 19, 2008.
Mass of Christian burial was Dec. 22, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic 
Church in West Point with burial at St. Michael's Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice, in Mar 1988; 
her parents and siblings: Joan Knobbe, Fred Lueckenhoff, Jr., 
Rose Tomka, and Karen Duker.

JoAnn JONES, 82, died Dec. 25, 2008, following a brief illness. 
A graveside service will be held at a future date in Scottsdale, Ariz. 

Louise E. "Betty" BECKENHAUER, 84, of West Point died Dec. 29, 2008
in Scribner. Services Jan. 3, 2009, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in West 
Point. Burial at Mount Hope Cemetery. 

Dorothea M. ZVACEK, 86, of Pender, died on Dec. 28, 2008. Funeral 
services were Dec. 31, 2008, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Pender. 
Interment in Rosehill Cemetery in Pender.
