Glen Richard LEWIS was born June 17, 1938, on the family farm in Hitchcock Co., 
south of Hamlet, Neb., to Isaac E. and Leretta S. (Bush) Lewis. Enlisted in U.S. 
Marine Corp on Oct 30, 1956. Married Bernice A. Styskal on March 16, 1962, at 
Grant, Neb. He died, Jan. 30, 2008, in Kearney. He was 69 years of age.
Preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Lorene Greeley and Vera Remington.
Funeral services held Feb. 1, 2008, at the First United Methodist Church, Wauneta.
Military rites were conducted. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery, Wauneta.
    
Henry David MEYER, San Diego, CA, died Jan. 23, 2008. He was born Dec. 7, 1914
in Duddenhausen, Germany, and with his parents, Marie Wilhelmine (daughter of 
Heinrich and Dorothea Nordhausen) and John Knippelmeyer, immigrated to western 
Kansas in Nov 1925. He dropped Knippel from his name when he became a citizen 
in 1942. March 1937 he enlisted in the USMC. Henry was preceded in death by his 
wife Elizabeth. They were married for 62 years. Memorial service was held at Grace 
Lutheran Church, 643 West 13th St., Escondido, Calif. 

Robert E. ANDERSON died at his home in Mesa, Ariz., Feb. 6, 2008, He was born 
Mar 9, 1930, the eighth of nine children to Joseph Oscar and Olive Ella (Paul) 
Anderson. After high school he served four years in the U.S. Air Force during 
the Korean War. Bob and Vena Jeane Martin were married in Springfield, Mo, 
June 8, 1959. Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Walter, 
Wayne and Donald and three sisters, Violet, Nell and Edith. At his request no 
services were held.
