Funeral Services on July 18, 2008, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Coleridge. Burial will be at the Hartington City Cemetery in Hartington with military rites by the Coleridge American Legion Post #114. Born on Aug 23, 1926 in Hartington to William Benet and Julia Madeline (Wohlman) Puntney. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving 1950 - 1952. Preceded in death by his parents, his wife Ruby on Oct 19, 2000, at the age of 72 years; four brothers, Ed, William, Bob, and Ralph Puntney; two sisters, Viola McKnight and Helen Vock. July 10, 2008 Funeral Services for Bernice PINKELMAN, age 86, of Niobrara, July 10, 2008 at St. William's Catholic Church in Niobrara. Burial in L'Eau Qui Court Cemetery in Niobrara, NE. She died July 7, 2008 in Yankton, SD. Bernice Mary Helen Suing, daughter of George and Mary (Boeckman) Suing, was born May 2, 1922 at Fordyce, NE. On Sept 21, 1943, she was married to Frank Pinkelman at Fordyce. Six sons and three daughters were born to them, Galen, Lois, Ann, David, Charles, Duane (Joe), Francis, Marie, and Thomas. Frank and Bernice farmed near St. James, NE until 1957 when they moved to their ranch east of Niobrara. Frank died in 1993. She was preceded in death by her husband; one infant son; one brother, Leander Suing; and one sister, Evelyn Bruning. July 2, 2008 OMAHA, Neb. — Newton Charles WHIPPLE, age 51, of Omaha and formerly of Santee, NE died June 29, 2008 unexpectedly at his residence. Funeral services held at the Oyate Oyanke Community Center, Santee, NE July 5, 2008, followed by services at Our Most Merciful Savior Episcopal Church.
