Harry Burdette OBRIST, age 83, of Lincoln, died June 23, 2008. Funeral services 
were held June 26, 2008 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Lincoln. Burial 
was in the Unadilla Cemetery in Unadilla, NE. Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral 
Home in Lincoln was in charge of arrangements. Preceded in death by his parents 
Harry and Goldie, and brothers-in-law Darold Hoffman and Bob Wible. 

Dorothy KONTOR, age 86 of Duncan, died June 24, 2008 in Stromsburg. 
Funeral services were held June 28, 2008 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church 
in Silver Creek, NE. Interment was in St. Lawrence Cemetery in Silver Creek. 
McKown Funeral Home in Columbus was in charge of arrangements. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Edmund and her 
brother Louis Starostka in WWII. 

Zella M. POWELL, age 86, of Gresham, NE, died June 29, 2008 at York, NE. 
She was born on Sept 4, 1921 near Gresham to John and Elsie (Richards) Bond.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband Lloyd; two sisters, Margaret Rhodes 
and Dorthea Eklund; one stepdaughter, Karen McCormick; two nephews, Robert 
Rhodes and Max Rhodes; and two nieces, Donna May Rhodes and Jean Joan Rhodes.
Funeral services held July 3, 2008 at the Presbyterian Church in Gresham, NE. 
Interment will follow at the Cedar Lawn Cemetery at Gresham. 

Waldo  RODENE was born in 1915 on a farm near Osceola, NE and died on 
July 2, 2008 at the age of 93. A memorial service was held at the Brentwood 
Funeral Home July 7, 2008.
