Enrique 'Hank' AYALA, 81, of Grand Island died June 11, 2008 in Omaha.
Memorial services at First Presbyterian Church. His ashes were placed in 
the church's columbarium. All Faiths Funeral Home is in charge of 
arrangements.

NORTH PLATTE, Robert P. ' Bob' BOHAN, 84, of North Platte died 
June 10, 2008. Services at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. T
Burial in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Born July 6, 1923, at 
Greeley to John and Elizabeth (Cahill) Bohan. His parents, a step
great-grandson, Jaden Muir, brothers, Kevin, Harold, Tom and Phil 
and a sister, Bernice McGuire, preceded him in death.

Guillermo Antonio GONZALEZ, infant son of Anita Murillo and Guillermo 
Gonzalez, was born with Jesus June 7, 2008, at St. Francis Medical 
Center. Graveside services at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery Babyland.

MEDFORD, Ore., Edward Albert SHERBECK, 83, of Medford, Ore., died 
June 1, 2008, at home. Services at Ansley Baptist Church in Ansley, NE.
Born Oct. 17, 1924, east of Westerville to Albert and Elizabeth (Pester) Sherbeck.
Preceded in death by his wife, Nadine, on Sept. 8, 2002; a daughter, Janis; and 
a son, Jerry. 

Jerry E. THORNE, 77, of Grand Island died June 10, 2008. Memorial services in 
the chapel of All Faiths Funeral Home with military honors. At Mr. Thorne's 
request, cremation was done, with no visitation. Born Sept. 27, 1930, in Grand 
Island to Hans and Katherine (Geseking) Thorne. His parents and a brother, Jack 
Thorne, preceded him in death. He served in the U S Army during the Korean War.
On July 2, 1955, married Beverly Connole at Grand Island. 

CENTRAL CITY, Donald Dean 'Don' WANDFLUH, 65, of Central City died 
June 11, 2008 at home. Services at United Presbyterian Church in Central City. 
Burial will be at a later date in Central City Cemetery. Born Dec. 18, 1942, at 
St. Joseph, Mo., to Herbert C. and Wilma (Eisiminger) Wandfluh. Preceded in 
death by his first wife, Jeanne, and infant daughter, Sheila Jean Wandfluh.
On Oct. 27, 1962, Don Wandfluh and Jeanne Martindale were married. 
Don and Linda Gustafson Tyler were married May 21, 1988. Preceded in 
death by his parents; a father-in-law, John Martindale; a father-in-law 
and mother-in-law, Roger and Shirley Gustafson; a great-niece, Jessica 
Merrill; and a great-nephew, Aaron Bayless.

SCOTIA, Malvin C. WINTER, 91, of Scotia died June 12, 2008 in St. Paul.
Services at Zion Lutheran Church at Scotia. Burial will be in Mount Hope 
Cemetery at Scotia. Ord Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

WOOD RIVER, Billie F. BOYLE, 92, of Wood River died June 17, 2008.
Services June 21, 2008 at Apfel Funeral Home in Wood River. Burial 
in Wood River Cemetery. 

Sheldon J. DETHLOFF, 78, of Grand Island died June 17, 2008.
Celebration of his life June 21, 2008 at Curran Funeral Chapel. 
Burial will be at a later date in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
 
Brighton, Colo., Burel Wayne DOLL, 64, of Brighton, Colo., died 
June 13, 2008, in Denver. Services June 19, 2008 at All Faiths 
Funeral Home in Grand Island, with a procession to North Logan 
Cemetery, north of St. Paul. Born on April 4, 1944, in 
Unionville, IA, to Hollie and Ruth Doll. Preceded in death by his 
wife, Lana, daughter of Ray and Rhoda Christensen of Grand Island.

BURLINGTON, Kan., Peggy Brouillette REED, 57, of Burlington, KS died 
June 14, 2008, at University Hospital in Kansas City, KS. Graveside 
services June 18, 2008 at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Grand Island.
Mrs. Reed chose to be cremated. Born Sept. 1, 1950, at McCook to 
Vernon and Mildred Brouillette. She and Jim REED were married on 
May 29, 1999. Preceded in death by her father; brother, Bill; 
sister, Susan; and grandparents, Leo and Louise Morrissey and 
Hector and Laura Brouillette.

VALLEY FALLS, Kan., Geneva May Green Cantrell ROSSER, 89, of 
Valley Falls, KS died June 15, 2008. Services June 19, 2008 at 
Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel in Topeka, KS. Burial will be 
June 20, 2008 in the Grand Island City Cemetery at Grand 
Island, next to Geneva's first husband. She was born 
Sept. 26, 1918, in Polk to Clyde H. Green and his 
wife, Ruth Tinker Green. A brother, Homer C. Green, and a 
sister, Virginia Glatter Rumery, preceded her in death.
 
Reuel G. ANDERSEN, 82, of Grand Island died June 17, 2008.
Services June 21, 2008 at First Baptist Church in Grand Island. 

MERNA, Frederick E. BINDEWALD, 68, died June 16, 2008, near Merna.
Services June 20, 2008 at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in 
Broken Bow. Burial will be in the Merna Cemetery. Born Mar 12, 1940, at 
Merna to Oscar Frederick and Agnes Louise (Rourke) Bindewald.

OGALLALA, Marjorie Jean Miller, 69, of Ogallala died June 16, 2008
at St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln. Memorial services 
June 20, 2008 at United Methodist Church in Ord. Born Oct. 18, 1938, 
north of Ord to Clifford and Ruth (Holloway) Goff. 

SALINA, KS, Carolyn Elaine Guy PALMER, 67, Salina, KS, died June 17, 2008.
Memorial services June 21, 2008 at Grand Avenue United Methodist Church 
in Salina. Inurnment will be July 5th in Wood River Cemetery in Wood River.
Born Aug. 31, 1940, at Wood River to Frank and Rose (Huey) Guy.

ASHTON, Eugene 'Gene' ROACH, 73, of Ashton died June 17, 2008, at his home.
Services June 20, 2008 at St. Francis Catholic Church in Ashton. Burial in the 
St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Ashton with military honors by the Ashton 
American Legion Post 108. Born Sept. 30, 1934, at Grand Island to Harold I. 
and Johanna A. (Warnke) Roach. Enlisted in the Marine Corp in 1953 and 
was discharged in 1956. On Oct. 19, 1957, married Gloria Allen at Blessed 
Sacrament Catholic Church in Grand Island. Preceded in death by his 
father, Harold I. Roach Sr.; and a sister, Kaye Kelsey.

HASTINGS, Duane R. 'Gunny' WALKER, 75, of Hastings died 
May 1, 2008, at his home. Memorial services and burial with 
military rites June 20, 2008 at Greenwood Cemetery in Trumbull. 

NAMPA, Idaho, Dale Levon FENSTER, 81, of Nampa, Idaho, formerly of 
Central City and Grand Island, died June 17, 2008, after a short battle 
with lung cancer. Services at Wagner Funeral Home in Central City. 
Burial will in the Aurora Cemetery near Aurora. Born Jan. 25, 1927, near 
Marquette to Richard and Irma (Lemmons) Fenster. Preceded in death 
by his wife of 59 years, Shirley, and a daughter and Vickie Waugh.
Also preceded in death by his parents, a son-in-law, Jerry Waugh, an 
infant granddaughter, two brothers, Wayne and Donald Fenster, and 
a daughter-in-law, Coralane Fenster.

FULLERTON, Stella C. (Beck) GONSIOR, 88, of Fullerton, formerly of Central 
City, died June 19, 2008. Services at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Clarks. 
Burial will be in St. Peter?s Catholic Calvary Cemetery in Clarks. Born on 
Nov. 4, 1919, at Clarks to Metro and Mary (Drybala) Beck. Preceded in 
death by her husband Frank Gonsior, and an infant son James.
Marriage to Frank J. Gonsior on June 15, 1946, in Clarks. Frank died 
on June 24, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents, an 
infant brother, Frank; four brothers, Eddie Beck, Charles Beck, Walter 
Beck and Albin Beck; three sisters, Anna Starostka, Catherine 
Konwinski, and Josephine Beck; and a daughter-in-law, Lana Gonsior.

SARGENT, Clark H. KLOOZ, 85, of Sargent died June 19, 2008 in Broken Bow.
Services at the Evangelical Free Church in Sargent. Burial will be in the Mount 
Hope Cemetery in Sargent. Rhoad Funeral Home in Sargent.

CENTRAL CITY, Helen Lillian LENHART, 92, of Central City died June 19, 2008.
Private family services will be held. Solt Funeral Home of Central City is in 
charge of arrangements. Born on April 27, 1916, at Cresson, Pa., to Herbert 
and Sadie (Lechene) Stevens. Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph 
Lenhart, a son, Ralph Ronald Lenhart, and a daughter, Lillian Louise Hanno.
Helen Stevens and Ralph Lenhart were married on Sept. 25, 1935. Preceded in 
death by her parents; a son-in-law, Gerald Hanno; a brother, a sister and 
three grandchildren.

Mary Ann OLDHAM, 82, of Grand Island died June 19, 2008, in Omaha.
Graveside memorial services at the Grand Island City Cemetery. She 
was cremated. Apfel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born July 30, 1925, at Abbott to Matthew and Mary (Diekmann) Hitchler.
Preceded in death by her husband, Howell 'Tex' Oldham. She was also 
preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.

OMAHA, Addie L. PRITCHETT, 92, of Omaha died June 19, 2008.
Services at St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Church in Omaha.
Burial in the Calvary Cemetery in O'Neill. Born on June 30, 1915, at
Phoenix, Nebr., to Ralph A. and Winnie (Beck) Wagner. Preceded in 
death by her husband, Charles Pritchett, and a son, Wayne. Also 
preceded in death by her parents, a grandchild; four sisters and 
three brothers.
