Burial was in Cheney Cemetery in Cheney, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Arleen, and brothers Robert and Laverne. Robert P. HOLMES, 80, of Central City, died May 29, 2008. Memorial services were held May 31, 2008 at Wagner Funeral Home in Central City. Burial was in the Arborville Cemetery near Polk with military rites by Lemuel R. Wilcox American Legion Post #16 of Polk. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, Doris Carol, one brother, Gaylen Holmes, two brothers-in-law, Oliver Kempf and G.A. Machal and one niece, CarolAnneMarie Machal. Cynthia (McGowen) CIUREJ, age 57, of Osceola, NE, formerly of Denver, CO died May 25, 2008. Memorial services are planned for June 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Osceola, and on June 13, 2008 at 2:30 p.m. at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO. OLSON, age 84, of Golden Valley, MN died on May 24, 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Edna Anderson. Funeral services were held May 30, 2008 at Calvary, Roseville. She was preceded in death by her husbands William and Peter, three grandsons Billy Kozisek and infant twins Mark and Mike Kozisek, one granddaughter Karen Bredahl, two infant brothers, brother Fritz Husak, two sisters Blanche Beckius Rohs and Tillie Stevens, step-son Eugene Schmit, step-daughter Dorothy Moyer and one step-grandson Cory Kallenbach. Preceding her in death besides her parents were an infant brother, her brother Raymond, and her husband Kenneth on May 7, 2007. Memorial held June 4, 2008 at the United Church of Christ in Exeter after a private family interment. Sylvia OLSON, 92, of Columbus, NE died June 6, 2008. The funeral was held June 10, 10:30 A.M. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Leigh. Interment was in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Leigh. Geraldine “Jeri” MASON age 65 of York, NE died June 14, 2008 surrounded by family in Lincoln, NE. Preceded in death by her parents, her beloved stepfather Norman B. Fintel, and her grandparents.
