Estelle D. SMITH, 86, of Murray, died May 15, 2008, in Omaha.
She was born Dec. 9, 1921, in Onslow County, N.C., to Alfred and 
Eula (Heath) Deaver. On July 9, 1962, married John Smith in Auburn. 
Preceded in death by her parents; first husband, James Kennedy; 
second husband, John Smith; and sisters, Marnie Ward, Nannie Mae 
Albon and Louise Humphrey. Funeral service was May 20, at 
Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home, Plattsmouth. Buried in Mount 
Pleasant Cemetery, Nehawka.

Juanita ELDERBAUM, 70, of Plattsmouth died May 14, 2008 in Omaha. 
Born July 3, 1937, in Plattsmouth to Raymond L. and Mary Emma (Grauf) Campbell. 
On May 3, 1958, married Gilbert LeRoy Elderbaum in Plattsmouth. Preceded in death 
by her parents; husband Gilbert Elderbaum (1982); brothers, Alfred and Harlan Conn; 
and sister, Dorothy Campbell. Funeral service was May 17, at Fusselman-Wymore 
Funeral Home Chapel, Plattsmouth. She was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth.

Kenneth Dale HENRY, 82, of Plattsmouth died May 17, 2008 in Omaha.
Born Feb. 14, 1926, in Murray to Raymond Herbert and Grace Agnes (Burton) Henry.
In 1950 he married Nettie Alma Long in Mississippi. He served with the U.S. Navy
during World War II. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Franklin, Raymond, 
Marion, Charles, Glen and Darwood Henry; sisters, Ireta Haverkamp and Grace V. 
Fulton; and daughter, Linda D. George (July 14, 1998). Funeral service was 
May 21, at First United Methodist Church, Plattsmouth. Buried in Oak Hill 
Cemetery, Plattsmouth. Lepert Wolever VFW Post 2543 of Plattsmouth 
performed military rites.

Omar PERSINGER, age 78, of Louisville died in Papillion, on May 18, 2008.
Born Dec. 29, 1929, in Republic County, KS, to Guy and Katie Ellen (Ball) Persinger.
On June 26, 1949, married Kathryn Arlene Reed in Cedar Creek. Married Ruth Gottsch 
Aug. 21, 1981, in Columbus. Preceded in death by his parents; wife Kathryn (Dec. 5, 1979); 
brother, Billy; and stepson, Mark Zaruba. Funeral service was May 21, at the Fusselman 
Wymore Funeral Chapel, Louisville, NE. He was buried in Glendale Cemetery.

Joey Dwaine WENTZ, age 35, of Monett, Mo., passed away May 17, 2008, in Purdy, Mo.
Born Sept. 25, 1972, in Nebraska City, to Larry and Vickie (Hutchison) Wentz. Burial will 
be at a later date in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth.

Iola Blanche FULLER, 90, of Plattsmouth died May 9, 2008, in Omaha. Born April 13, 1918, 
in Syracuse to Claude William and Amy Leona (Barrett) Masters. On July 31, 1937, 
married Raymond Elwood Fuller in Papillion. Ray passed away May 29, 1971. She married 
Karl Neumeister of Weeping Water on Feb. 23, 1974; they later divorced. Preceded in death 
by her parents; husband Raymond Fuller; brothers, Earl, Don and Dale Masters; and 
sister, Phyllis Heather. Graveside service was conducted at Wyuka 
Cemetery, Lincoln, on May 14, 2008.

Jannette Tyron YELICK, 91, of Plattsmouth died May 11, 2008 in Papillion. She was born 
Feb. 11, 1917, in Leshara to Gideon West and Alice (Fiest) Winkelman. On May 19, 1917
she married James Vincent Yelick Jr. in Plattsmouth. She was preceded in death by her 
parents; and sisters, Lucille and Doris. Funeral service was May 15, at First United 
Methodist Church, Plattsmouth. She was buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth.

James BOARDMAN, age 96, of Nebraska City, formerly of Union, died on April 30, 2008.
Born Feb. 11, 1912, in Hartington to Rachael (Ervin) and Charles Boardman. Married to 
Dorothea Hobbie on Aug. 8, 1938, in Tecumseh. Preceded in death by his parents; son, 
Ronald Boardman, on Feb. 25, 2005; granddaughter, Cheryl Boardman; brother, Shelby; 
sisters: Charlotte Golf, Edith Buterbaugh and Rachel Egelston. Funeral service was 
May 3, 2008 at Peterson Mortuary Chapel. Burial followed at the East Union 
Cemetery near Union. 

Elizabeth Anna Jane HARMS was born Dec. 3, 1920, in Plattsmouth to Earl 
and Ola “Dolly” (Gregory) Terryberry. Married Dale Harms on Dec. 31, 1941, in 
Rockport, Mo. They lived in Plattsmouth where Dale was a painter. Anna Jane 
passed away on May 1, 2008, in Seward at the age of 87 years. Preceded in 
death by her parents; husband Dale; brothers, Fred, Jimmy, Bobby and Billy 
Terryberry; and sister, Shirley Benner. Funeral service was May 5, 2008 at 
First Presbyterian Church, Plattsmouth. Interment was in Glendale 
Cemetery, Louisville.

Helen GALLENTINE, 93, of Springfield, died April 27, 2008 in Gretna. 
Born Nov. 3, 1914, in Murray to Rudolph Herman Frederick and Jessie F. 
(Schwab) Schomaker. On Oct. 12, 1936, she married Eldon Gallentine in Union.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eldon; sister, Lena Snodgrass; 
brother, David; sister Josephine; and brother, Elmer. Graveside services were 
May 1, at Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth.
