Gerald Samuel “Jerry” KRIEWALD, 82, of Ord, NE died April 28, 2008 in O’Neill, NE. Funeral services were held May 2, 2008 at the First Christian Church in Burwell, NE. Verland O. “V.O.” BAUER, age 85 of Rising City, died May 16, 2008 in David City. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Florinda Kopke. HEDRICK age 85 of York, NE died May 13, 2008. Born on Feb 9, 1923 to Verle E. and Gertrude F. (Walter) Hedrick. Preceding her in death were her parents, brothers Stanley and David, two nephews, and brothers-in-law Alvin Kath and Daniel Schultze. Funeral services were held May 19, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in York. Interment was in Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Gresham. Metz Mortuary, York handled the arrangements. Ronald E. LERCH of Omaha died May 11, 2008 at the Veterans Hospital in Omaha, NE. Funeral services were May 15, 2008 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bellevue, NE.
