Burial was at Mount Hope Cemetery with military honors graveside. Funeral services for Dean E. NIELSEN, 59, of Norfolk were May 5, 2008 at First Christian Church, Norfolk. Burial was at the Greenwood Cemetery, Creighton. Military Rites were conducted by American Legion Post 74 and VFW Post 1151 of Creighton. Dean died April 29, 2008. Sandra K. CLATANOFF, 65, West Point, died May 3, 2008, in Omaha. Funeral services were May 7, 2008, at Ludvigsen Mortuary Chapel in Fremont. Committal was in Memorial Cemetery in Fremont. Evelyn WIESE, 80, of Wisner, died May 6, 2008, in Beemer. Services May 8, 2008, at Stokely Funeral Home in West Point. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery. Bruce M. POTTER, 64, Omaha, formerly of West Point, died May 11, 2008. A memorial service was held May 15, 2008, at Christ Community Church, Omaha. Interment will be in the Harlan, Iowa Cemetery. Norma BLUST-BETTENHAUSEN, 98, died May 10, 2008, Fremont. Services for Norma, formerly of Wisner, are pending at the Kuzelka-Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner. Vivien P. CHRISTIANSEN, 92 of Pender, died May 12, 2008. Services were May 14, 2008, at United Church of Pender. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery at Walthill. Mildred BRAHMER, 94, died May 5, 2008, in the Wisner Care Center. Funeral services were May 8, 2008, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wisner with burial in the Wisner Cemetery. Magdalen "Maggie" NELSON, 78, of West Point, died May 7, 2008. Mass of Christian burial was May 10, 2008, at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial at St. Michael's Cemetery. Mabel WEGNER, 99, of Bancroft died on May 17, 2008 in Pender. Funeral services for Mabel were May 21, 2008, at Zion Lutheran Church near Bancroft. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Mary BIGELOW, 92, Fremont, died May 14, 2008. Funeral services were May 17, 2008, at the Presbyterian Church, Fremont. Survivors include a nephew, Dr. Brad Bigelow and Karen of Kearney, and many grand-nieces and nephews. Robert John STALP, 83, of West Point, died May 14, 2008. Services were May 17, 2008, at Stokely Funeral Chapel in West Point. Graveside services were at the Hooper Cemetery. William (Bill) GOEBEL, 91, of Inglewood, Calif., died May 3, 2008, at his home. Services were held May 12, 2008, at St. John's Chrysotom Church in Inglewood. Inglewood Mortuary was in charge of arrangements. Funeral services for Linda (Mrs. Theran) KOEHN, 58 of Blair, were May 19, 2008, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner with burial in the Wisner Cemetery. Linda died on May 15, 2008. Sister Giovanni RIEF, 92, a member of Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, died Mar 28, 2008, at Holy Family Convent, Manitowoc, WI. Funeral services for Elton William KIND, 71, Omaha, were May 23, 2008, at St. James Catholic Church in Omaha. Burial was at Resurrection Cemetery, Omaha. He died May 21, 2008. Hilbert John HUNKE, 72, of rural West Point, died May 25, 2008, at his farm home. Mass of Christian burial May 30, 2008, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Monterey. Body donation will follow with burial at St. Boniface Cemetery at a later date. Elaine HEDELL, 62, of West Point, died May 21, 2008 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Lincoln of surgical complications.
