He was born Feb. 3, 1917 at Howard County, to John and Christina (Larsen) Jensen. On June 13, 1941 Harlan entered the U.S. Army where he served in WWII. In 1951, he married Margaret "Iona" Darling at Cozad. Iona preceded him in death in 1990. On Feb. 14, 1992, he married Phyllis Suffield at the First United Methodist Church in Cozad. He joined the U S Army on June 26, 1960, until his honorable discharge in 1968. On June 21, 1963, he married Shirley Grace Jones. Ronald was reunited with his two birth sisters in April of 1964, Colleen (Merlin) Ehmen of Fairmont and Regina Thomas of Omaha along with their families. He married Donna Rae Albrecht on Dec. 30, 1994, at North Platte. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a half brother, Albert Buck. Cremation was chosen. Ira was the oldest of six children born to Cleve and Mattie (Price) Pitkin. Ira enlisted in the Navy on May 29, 1942, and trained at the Great Lakes Naval Training Station in Great Lakes, Ill. While on leave, he married Georgia Marie Hansen on April 28, 1943, at the home of Cleve and Mattie Pitkin in Callaway. Ira was honorably discharged from the Navy on Oct. 29, 1945. Services June 26, at the United Methodist Church in Callaway. Inurnment in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Callaway at a later date.
