She was born Sept 26, 1934 at Stromsburg , NE to Henry Joseph and Grace Jessie (Covey) Smith. Preceding her in death were her parents; sons Duane Paneitz, Kenneth Paneitz and Michael Paneitz; daughter Debra Paneitz; brothers Albert Smith and Harland Smith; infant sister Anna Mae Smith; and sisters Evelyn Green and DeEtte Brand. Funeral services were held June 1, 2009 at Zion Lutheran Church in Hampton, NE. Burial followed in the church cemetery. 5 June 2009 Melvin E. GRUBER, age 82, of Seward, formerly of Gresham, NE, passed away May 28, 2009 in Seward, NE. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Gladys, brothers Arnold (Nora) and Milton; twin sister Mildred (Ed) Burback; brother-in-law Rodney Myers and infant son Chris. Funeral services held June 1 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Gresham. Burial was in St. Peter's Church Cemtery. 5 June 2009 Dolores Marie MEISTER, age 82, of Osceola, NE, passed away May 29, 2009 at Bryan LGH West Hospital in Lincoln, NE. Funeral services held June 2, 2009 at St. Vincent's Catholic Church in Osceola. Interment will be in the Osceola Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her parents. 12 June 2009 Alice Lorraine (Johnson) CARLSON, 74, of Stromsburg, NE, died June 7, 2009 at her home. Graveside services were held June 10, 2009, at Swede Plain Cemetery near Polk. Her parents, Clarence and Lillian Johnson, and a brother, Alton Johnson, preceded her in death. 12 June 2009 Lori Beth MARSH, age 33 of Springfield , MO, died June 4, 2009 at Springfield. She was born July 8, 1975 at York, NE to Roger and Loretta (Siffring) Wyatt. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral services June 11, 2009 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in York. Burial will follow in York ’s Greenwood Cemetery. 12 June 2009 Sandra Schuman WALGREN, the daughter of Maurine Walrath Schuman and Fred W. Schuman, was born July 11, 1928, in York, NE. She died June 3, 2009 in Lincoln, NE. Memorial service held June 8, 2009 at the United Methodist Church in Osceola, NE. A private family inurnment was held in the Osceola Cemetery. Sandra was preceded in death by her sister, Sheila Schuman; her parents, and her son, Tracy. 19 June 2009 David Paul LAMOREE age 38, of Ballwin, MO died June 1, 2009. Memorial services were held June 15, 2009 at Salem Lutheran Church in Stromsburg, NE. Interment was in the Stromsburg Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his father Robert Lamoree, grandparents Levina (Hult) Lamoree, and Clifton and Louise (McNurlin) Johnson. 19 June 2009 Norma (Petersen) UDEY, age 88, of Osceola, NE, passed away June 9, 2009. Funeral services were held June 20, 2009 at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in McCool Jct. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery west of McCool Jct. 26 June 2009 Sharon JOHANNES, 63, of Columbus, NE died June 21, 2009, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha,NE. Funeral service was held June 24, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interment was in the Roselawn Memorial Cemetery.
