The Nebraska Obituary Abstracts site was started by Kathie Harrison, in 2001 on her personal family genealogy website. Kathie manages the website and maintains it on a regular basis. 

In 2005, she requested volunteer assistance to keep the site online. With the help of Jan Plambeck, Donna Dietrich, Linda Mitchell and Sherri Brakenhoff, we continue to add more abstracts to the website.
